After a relatively quiet first day inside the PBB house, Tina’s finally beginning to get her bearings and relate well with her fellow housemates. Inch by inch, she’s beginning to forge ties with our PBB residents, much to the delight (and in some cases, ire) of everyone!

Last night saw Tina try on different Filipino ‘delicacies’ like balut, and frankly she didn’t seem too ‘stable’ about it. So today, the housemates decided to prepare a special lunch for her. As she emerged from the confession room the housemates were all lined up at the dining room area, and Mickey tried to explain to a confused Tina that they wanted to make amends for what she ate. The housemates then chanted the SmokeyMountain song ‘Coconut Nut’ and backed away to reveal a table decked with coconuts, mangoes and all her favorite Filipino foods!

While eating, Mickey also taught her a thing or two about eating mangoes. He showed her how to eat mangoes without a spoon, by cutting the flesh into cross sections and opening it up so the cubes could be easily eaten. She was no doubt amused by this practical and wonderful way of eating!

Upon finishing their meal, she also had a chat with the others about reggae music, and sang along as Mickey belted out a few verses from ‘No Woman No Cry’. The PBB theme soon played, and she enthusiastically danced as well, taking her cue from a very active Nel. He kept heckling her with “Tina, you’re so good!” and so after the song, he received a light belly slap, much to everyone’s delight. Well, everyone except Maricris, who seemed a little wary of Tina’s joking around with Nel…
